Do you offer government funding?

No, we are not running any government accredited courses that qualify for funding. However, we do offer interest-free payment plans through ZIP and AFTERPAY.

Do you offer concessions on your courses?

No, we do not offer any concession, but we do have student training specials and discounts visible on our website under Training Specials.

When do I receive my certificate?

You will receive your certificate on the last day of your training, as long as all the theory and practical components of your course have been completed.

How many students do you take per class?

We only take 4 students per class to ensure a high standard of learning is achieved by all students.

I have children. Can I bring them to the training session?

No. Bringing children could be a distraction to you and to others in the class.

I have had no previous beauty experience. Is it a requirement?

No, our short courses are designed for people with no beauty experience.

Do I have to be over 18 years old to complete a course?

Not necessary. If you are under 18, we would just require approval from your parent or guardian.

What if I can’t find a model for my training?

We offer a service of obtaining models for students, which incurs a fee. Else, you can join the Facebook groups Hair and Beauty Models Melbourne and Beauty Models Melbourne and follow the page rules on how to post to get models. This is a free service to post and find the right model. You can contact Ceecees for advice.

What experience do your trainers have?

Carole, the owner, is a Cert 4 qualified instructor with 25 years of industry experience. All our trainers have many years of beauty and teaching experience.

I’m in a wheelchair. Am I still able to attend the training?

Yes, our training facility is wheelchair-friendly, and we can make the necessary accommodation so that you can complete your course properly.

My English is not very good. Can I bring an interpreter to class?

A basic understanding of English is recommended. A one-on-one training session can be organised for students who don’t understand English, and an interpreter can be present. This will incur an extra fee (see Terms and Conditions). In a class environment, we cater to all needs and requirements.

I did not achieve high results at school. Will I get behind in class?

Not at all! All the short courses are mostly practical, although there are some theory assessments. However, a certain school grade is not required. The courses are designed so that all students can learn at the same pace.

My model wears a headscarf due to their religious beliefs. Do they have to remove their headscarf?

No, it depends on what the model is being used for. As long as we have access to the area we are practising, the headscarf can remain. However, we might need to shift it slightly to protect it from other products.

I suffer from mental illness and am prone to having unusual behaviour. Can I still do the course?

As long as we have been made aware of your disorder and your requirements, you are not a danger to yourself or others, and we have been given a clearance from your specialist that you are able to attend and complete a beauty course, then yes, you can do the course.

Can I fail any of the courses?

No, you can’t fail any beauty short courses. It is competency based. We do assess you and you are given notes and guidelines on what areas you need to work and practise on.

Is there any circumstance when you do not issue a certificate?

The only time we do not issue a certificate on the day is if we feel the student has not developed enough practical experience in class to work on live models. This is not a setback, and we ensure that we do not set students up for failure. We also offer free student support and mentoring program to make sure students obtain their certificates.

What happens if I complete a course and still can’t do it properly?

We offer FREE ongoing support and mentoring for all students with no time limits. Support is available via phone, email, Skype, and text. We also offer a free hour of one-on-one training to troubleshoot any part of your training that you are having trouble with.

Can I bring my pet to the training session?

No. Pets are not allowed in the training academy unless it is a support animal and is authorised by Ceecees.

Can I bring a support person to my training?

Students that require a support person to complete the training must contact Ceecees prior to the training session and have the support person authorised.

Do you have any terms and conditions for joining your training course?

Yes, the terms and conditions can be found on our website, and they are emailed with every training booked.

Do you offer one-on-one training?

Yes, we do offer one-on-one training for an additional fee. This information can be found under Terms and Conditions.

Do you travel and do in-salon training?

Yes, we do. There is a travel fee. Please refer to Terms and Conditions.

Do you offer student perks and discounts?

Yes. Refer to Past Student Perks on the website to view the perks we offer our students.
