Training FAQ

Do you offer government funding?

No, we are not running any government accredited courses that qualify for funding however we do offer interest free payment plans through Humm.

Do you offer concessions on your courses?

No, we do not offer any concessions but do offer 10% off if you attend other courses.

When do I receive my certificate?

You will receive your certificate on the last day of your training as long as all theory and practical components of your course have been completed.

How many students do you take per class?

We only take 4 students per class to ensure a high standard of learning is achieved by all students

I have children can I bring them to training?

No children will be a distraction to you and others in the class

I have had no previous beauty experience is it a requirement?

No, our short courses are designed for people with no beauty experience.

Do I have to be over 18 years old to complete a course?

No if you under 18 we would just require a parent or guardian approval.

What experience do your trainers have?

Carole the owner is a cert 4 qualified instructor with 25 year’s industry experience.Our trainers have had many years beauty and teaching experience.

My English is not very good am I able to bring an interpreter to class?

A basic understanding of English is recommended. A one on one training session can be organized for people with no English and an interpreter can be present. This will incur an extra fee (see terms and conditions). In a class environment we cater for all needs and requirements.

I’m in a wheelchair am I still able to attend the training?

Yes, our training facility is wheelchair friendly and we will make allowances to enable you to complete your course.

I did not achieve high results at school will I get behind in class?

Not at all! All the short courses are mostly practical although there are some theory assessments a certain school grade is not required. The courses are designed so all students learn at the same pace.

My model has religious beliefs do they have to remove their headscarf?

No not at all depending on what the model is being use for as long as we have access to the area we are practising on the head scarf can remain, but we might need to move it out the way slightly or protect it from products.

I suffer from mental illness and have unusual behaviours can I still do the course?

As long as we have been made aware of your disorder and your requirement’s and you are not a danger to yourself or others and we have been given a clearance from your specialist that you are able to attend and complete a beauty course then yes you can.

Can I fail any of the courses?

No, you can’t fail any beauty short courses. Its competency based. We do assess you and you are given notes and guidelines on what areas you need to work and practise on.

What happens if I complete a course and still can’t do it properly?

We offer FREE ongoing support and mentoring for all students with no time limits. Support is available via phone,email,skype and text. We also offer for you a free hour of one on one training to troubleshoot any part of your training you are having trouble with.

Are the products you use vegan friendly ?

All our products used are not tested on animals or contain animal products.


Are your salon products vegan and cruelty free?

Yes, none of our salon products contain animal products and are not tested on animals.

I’m under 18 can I still have salon services done?

Yes, but a parent or guardian will have to sign our consent form.

I’m pregnant will can I still have salon services done will they affect me or my unborn child?

As professional technicians we can safely say that no salon services we offer will affect you or your baby. But if you feel uncomfortable it’s advisable to seek advice from your doctor before proceeding.

What if I have reaction to any of the products or services?

We can perform patch tests of our products used prior to the service and if a reaction occurs we would recommend you seek medical advice. If you have had reactions in the past we would not perform the service.

Is your salon wheelchair friendly?

Yes, it is we can perform all of our beauty services if you are in a wheelchair.

Are your therapists certified?

Yes, our technicians are fully trained and have certificates for all of the beauty services performed

Do I have to book my appointments?

Yes, you can either book online, phone, email or visit the salon we will always endeavour to meet your needs whenever possible.

How do I know which treatments are for me?

Ceecees beauty and training will offer you the best advise so you can use all services affectively.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel at ease in. Depending on the service we will advise what to bring and wear for the appointment.

When should I arrive?

To be able to provide the best customer service we appreciate if you can arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to fill out consent forms etc.

What if I’m late?

Arriving late will simply limit your treatment time, thus affecting the results. Your treatment will end on time as we respect that our clients time is valuable. Its best to contact the salon and in some cases your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

As we have reserved a time slot for you we would appreciate 4 hours’ notice unless an emergency of course.

Do you except male clients?

Yes, we do for limited services please view our service menu to see what services are available to men.

How can I pay for for my services?

We accept visa, Mastercard, eftpos, or bank transfer.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, ceecees have gift vouchers for the perfect gift. They are valid for 3 months and cannot be refunded.

What if I’m not happy with my beauty service? who do I speak to?

Ceecees prides itself on customer service and quality of our work. With our lash extensions we have a 7-day guarantee. For any of our services if you are not happy with the result please contact your technician straight away she will make an appointment to get you back into the salon. Or you can email us with your comments and an appointment will be made for you.  We take all feedback onboard and use it to always improve. You will not be ignored we will do our best to make you happy.

Do you offer refunds on services?

We pride ourselves on our consultations, so no service should have to be refunded.In extreme circumstances the situation would be dealt with by management and a suitable outcome agreed to.

Do you offer client loyalty deals?

Yes, we like to reward our loyal clients and thank them. All our clients are offered a loyalty card where the 10th visit to our salon is half price. Please check our monthly specials on our website, facebook and instragram for client specials and discounts.

Do you offer concessions?

Yes, we offer 10% off for students. (must produce student card at time of service)

Do you offer specials for local businesses?

Yes, we offer 10% off any of our services to all local businesses. Please contact management for approval. We believe in supporting local businesses and building a community network of referral.
