How to Use Lash Bond: Three Techniques Every Lash Tech Should Know
Lash Bond is a must-have product for lash techs looking to improve their retention.
But something you may not know is that it can be used in three different ways depending on what you want to achieve! Here are the things Lash Bond can do!
Use 1: On the natural lashes
You can use Lash Bond on the natural lashes as the final step in your pretreatment routine. Lash Bond has an alkaline pH not enough to cause damage, but enough that when it’s applied to the hairs, it causes the cuticles to open slightly, which gives the glue more surface area to grip onto when you place the extensions. Dispense a drop onto a micro wand, dab the excess, and sandwich the lashes between the wands and apply from roots to end, focusing on the glue attachment area. Apply Bond after our Pre-treatment pH balancer for the ultimate retention buster.
Use 2: Sometimes, Russian volume fans close, and we don’t want that! Lash Bond can help with that. Simply take a micro wand and add a drop of bond, dabbing off the excess. Apply the Lash Bond directly onto the lash strip at the base of the lashes.
Note: Bond can be used on easy fanning lashes.
Use 3: Lash Bond is your go-to product for making wet look lashes with your volume lashes. Simply apply Bond from roots to tips to your Russian Volume Lashes and VOILA!
They are now closed. Simply pick them up and place them to create amazing wet-look, wispy designs.
