Owner of Ceecees, Effie Shlomo brings a fresh vision to the academy, grounded in professionalism, education, and a deep passion for the beauty industry. A qualified professional make up artist, Effie has spent many years working across the beauty sector, developing strong hands on expertise and an eye for detail that reflects industry best practice.
Alongside her practical experience, Effie holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), giving her a strong foundation in teaching, learning design, and student engagement. This unique combination of creative skill and formal education allows her to deliver high quality training while supporting students with structured, effective learning experiences.
Effie is deeply passionate about empowering beauty professionals and fostering confidence, creativity, and long term success. As the new owner of Ceecees, she is committed to continuing the academy’s strong reputation while evolving its offerings to meet modern industry standards and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.
Sev
Bringing five years of immersive experience in the vibrant beauty industry, Sev stands as a distinguished beauty trainer renowned for her multifaceted expertise in cosmetic tattooing, lash lifts, brow lamination, brow sculpting, brow tinting, and spray tans. With a keen eye for trends and a deep understanding of the latest techniques and products, Sev is dedicated to fostering the next generation of talented beauty professionals. Phoebe
Phoebe has been in the beauty industry since 2009 and has worked in numerous salons across Melbourne doing all aspects of beauty therapy. However, she found her niche after completing her lash extension training in 2010. She successfully owned and managed a busy hair and beauty salon in Chadstone for many years, maintaining a strong client base for lash extensions. When COVID hit, she converted her business from a salon setting to a mobile beauty service—the only one of its kind in Melbourne at that time. In 2014, Phoebe completed her Certificate IV in training assessment at Chisholm Institute and has been the Head Lash Trainer at Ceecees since 2017. Phoebe’s passion is passing on her knowledge of the lash extension application and sharing the tips and tricks she has learned throughout years of experience. She believes in delivering the highest standard of training to students to provide the industry with quality technicians and training a diverse range of students, each with individual learning styles.

Specialising in threading, piercing, waxing, tinting, facials, lash lift, brow lamination, and microblading, Aila’s meticulous attention to detail ensures flawless results, skills she loves passing onto students. Laura has over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry and is a dedicated beauty educator specialising in brows, lashes, cosmetic tattooing, and advanced skin treatments. Education has always been a core part of her career, with a strong focus on supporting and developing the next generation of beauty professionals.She has held previous educator positions, training both new and established industry professionals. Known for her patience, technical expertise, and calm, supportive teaching style, Laura is passionate about passing on her knowledge and helping others build confidence, master technique, and develop skills they can rely on throughout their careers.Having worked across professional salons and clinic environments for decades, Laura remains committed to ongoing education and staying current with industry innovations. She believes the strongest results — for both clients and professionals — come from a combination of experience, education, and a genuine passion for the craft. Zainab
Zainab offers a range of beauty services in her salon, including cosmetic tattooing, brow waxing and shaping, brow lamination, eyelash extensions, lash lift, tinting, threading, and skin treatments. She will also be trained in laser. Her passion is looking after clients and passing on her skills as a beauty trainer so students can pursue their dream of a career in the beauty industry like herself. She originates from Iraq and has lived in many countries. Now, she has settled in Melbourne with her husband and 2 children. Her strengths in training are her patience, friendliness, and knowledge. She is happy to be a part of the Ceecees team and enjoys meeting and training students.
Mojgan
Mojgan is an accomplished beauty professional and trainer with over 12 years of industry experience. Originally from Iran and now based in Australia, she specialises in precision threading, waxing, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, eyebrow lamination, and tinting. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Mojgan is passionate about enhancing natural beauty while delivering refined, personalised results. As a dedicated educator, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and mentoring students, while continually updating her skills to remain at the forefront of industry trends and techniques. Mojgan has the ability to ensure students of all ages, backgrounds and learning ability achieve the skills required to enter the beauty industry.
